This course is designed for those who are just starting to learn about sake. It will introduce you to the world of sake through hands-on experiences. You will explore the major styles and types of sake through sight, smell, and taste, and learn about the key factors that influence the flavor and aroma of sake. Upon successful completion of this certification course, you will be awarded a certificate and a lapel pin.

- The minimum age to enroll in the course is 18 years.
- The wine tasting session will be held in ordinary tasting portions, and our academy will carefully select wines that are representative of the terroir for tasting, so that students can more easily understand the styles and characteristics of each wine-producing region.
- Courses will be mainly taught in Cantonese with English as an aid. Textbooks and exams are all English-based.
- The application deadline is generally two weeks before the exam date.
- Due to the urgency of our courses, please arrive at the center on time to participate in each class or exam.
- All course registrations, reservations and discounts are subject to deposit and transfer.
- Once the course degree is confirmed by tuition payment, there will be no refunds (including classes postponed due to the epidemic).
- The above course timetable is for reference only and will not be changed under normal circumstances. However, if there are any changes (for example, if it needs to be postponed due to the epidemic), the timetable on the college's website shall prevail. Under normal circumstances, the college is unable to provide refunds for those who are absent from any class (except under certain special circumstances, which will be considered and determined by the college).
- Do students have special class arrangements?
The college welcomes anyone to apply for WSET courses at all levels. If special arrangements are needed, such as arranging wheelchair seats, examination venues and lighting, etc., you can communicate with the college staff before registration. The college will try its best to assist each student. - What should I do if I miss a WSET class? Can I book make-up lessons in advance?
For students enrolled in WSET Level 1 courses, in order for students to get the best learning process and cope with the exam, the college recommends that students follow the original schedule as much as possible.
If students enrolled in WSET Level 2 or Level 3 courses need to miss a certain class, please inform the college by email or phone three days in advance. The college will try its best to arrange students to make up the class in the same class in other classes. No need to Pay extra. - If students are unable to take the exam according to the announced date?
Students can notify the college by email or phone so that students can be arranged to take the subsequent exam of the same level. Students do not need to pay additional fees. - Exam results announced?
WSET Level 1 and Level 2 exam results will generally be announced within 6-8 weeks, while Level 3 results will take 16-18 weeks to be announced. The college will notify each party by phone. When students receive their transcripts, normally, the transcripts will be stored in the college for 3 months, while the score records and all student information will be stored in the college for 3 years.Hong Kong Sommelier and Bartender Training Institute launched
