WSET Course

The college offers WSET Level 1, WSET Level 2 and WSET Level 3 wine certificate courses, providing a platform for those interested in wine and practitioners to learn about wine and spirits.

Bartending Courses

Our institute was awarded in 2014 as the certified bartender training and education institute in Hong Kong by the International Bartenders Association (IBA). After completing all levels of the bartender courses, the students will receive global international certification, and will also be recommended to apply for bartender positions at major hotels in Hong Kong.

Coffee course

The cultivation, processing, fermentation, roasting, blending, and brewing of coffee all involve various kinds of knowledge and techniques. Our institute has specially invited several current professional international coffee instructors to lead everyone to enjoy this captivating world of coffee.

International kikisake-shi

The course will provide in-depth understanding and analysis of the production processes and styles of various sake produced across Japan. It will cover analysis of different ingredients, the impact of rice varieties on sake style, and the interpretation of regional sake labels, in order to enhance your buying knowledge, tasting skills and experience.

Chinese Tea Appreciation Course

The tea appreciation classes are divided into beginner, intermediate, advanced, and master levels. The content is comprehensive and engaging.

Hong Kong Sommelier & Bartender Training College
This college was founded by Dean Damon Yuen. The college team has designed a series of interest and professional certificate courses, including: WSET wine course, IBA international bartending course, HKSBTC professional coffee course, SSI Japanese sake sommelier course and China In addition to basic theory, tea art courses are also equipped with practical skills, making it easier for students to absorb and learn.

DEAN RESUME
Damon Yuen, the founder, is a certified wine taster of the World Sommelier Association, a SSI (Japan Sake Sommeliers Association) certified Sake Sommelier, a Chinese Baijiu connoisseur, and a columnist for grape wine and spirits. He holds a doctoral degree in Oenology from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, and was appointed as a visiting professor at the College of Enology of Northwest A&F University in 2013. In 2015, he was appointed as a board member of the Hong Kong Wine & Spirits Association, and in 2016 he was appointed as the chairman of the Education and Training Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Wine & Spirits. He has been a lecturer for wine programs at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Vocational Training Council, and is currently a certified wine course lecturer for the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) in the UK.
