  • How many students are there per class?

    We have a separate tea classroom which can accommodate up to 8 persons. Classroom A and B can each accommodate 15 and 18 persons respectively, and can be combined to accommodate 33 persons.

  • In addition to Cantonese, are there other languages as options?

    Unless otherwise specified, our courses will be conducted in Cantonese supplement with English course materials. However, we are happy to conduct our course in English or Mandarin for organization with special request.

  • What is the refund policy if I cannot attend a session?

    Sorry but all fee and expenses are non-refundable for any absent session. (We reserve the right to consider a refund request for special cases.)

  • Are all courses professional certificate programs?

    To avoid misunderstand and confusion, we will mark clearly on our courses as “Certificate Course” or “Interest Course”. We offer various course series or interest course to satisfy different students’ needs and learning goals. Certain international certificate courses can fulfill professionals in their work capacity, whereas other interest courses aim to provide an enjoyable and rewarding learning experience in which examination is not required.

    Hong Kong Sommelier & Bartender Training College is dedicated to wine education with a clear vision. We aim to offer an all-rounded training and education, teaching certificate courses with a focus on theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Whether it is a certificate course or interest course, we hope our students could fully apply their knowledge in wine and spirits.

  • What is the payment method?

    By bank transfer or cash or cheque deposit:

    After transfer/deposit the course fee, please send us the bank receipt together with the course registration form by E-mail or fax.

  • What happen if I cannot attend a session? Can I arrange a make-up class in advance?

    For those who are taking WSET® Level 1 course, we highly recommend our students to follow the scheduled sessions to have a smooth coordination with an ideal learning environment and examination.

    For those taking part in WSET® Level 2 and Level 3 courses, if you may not be able to attend a certain session, please provide us a written notice 3 days in advance.

    We will try our best to arrange you to take another class of the same course to make up for the absent session. However, please note that class change will incur an administration fee.

    Remarks: Make-up class will not be arranged for interest classes and other courses.

  • What is the arrangement in case of bad weather?

    For sessions that have not started:

    If Typhoon Signal No. 8 is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force, classes or examination sessions will be canceled according to the following times:

    After 6:30 a.m. - the morning sessions that start before 2:00 p.m. will be cancelled.
    After 11:00 a.m. - the afternoon sessions that starts between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. will be cancelled.
    After 3:00 p.m. - the sessions that start from 6:00 p.m. will be cancelled.

    For sessions that have already started prior any adverse weather warning is in force:

    If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted during the session, the session will be terminated immediately. When Black Rainstorm Warning is in force, all participants of the sessions are advised to stay where they are until the warning signal is lowered. All classes proceed as scheduled in case Typhoon Signal No. 3 is hoisted of the Red Rainstorm Warning is in force.

  • 如果學員缺課了可以補課?

    學生需自行聯絡本學院查詢補課安排, 所有的補課安排都是以候補位置形式補上, 如該班別已經滿班, 補課的學生需等下一期課堂才能再補上, 本學院保留最終決定權。另如學生需要缺席某一課堂, 需要預先三天前以書面/電郵/電話通知我們請假,否則學生將喪失補課機會, 學院會盡量安排學生於其他班別的同一堂補課, 如果課堂時間表有任何變更, 本學院亦不會另行通知, 需要補課的學員請自行聯絡本學院以確認補課時間, 補課無需額外費用, 但需注意的是補課機會只有一次,如果學員再次缺席將不會再獲補課機會,
